Find your kind of boat day: snorkeling at Los Arcos, lunch by the beach at Las Ánimas or a visit to Yelapa.

Looking for a swim stop, lunch on the beach, or time to explore a village? Los Arcos, Las Ánimas and Yelapa offer different ways to spend the day. Here's how our trips compare, with departure and return at Marina Nuevo Vallarta.
The three trips at a glance
- Los Arcos — four hours: a shorter outing around the rock formations, with swimming or snorkeling when conditions allow.
- Las Ánimas — six hours: a beach stop with the option to eat at a restaurant ashore.
- Yelapa — seven hours: a longer coastal trip with a beach and village to explore.
These are the minimum lengths for each route, including the journey back to the marina. You can extend the trip in whole-hour steps up to fourteen hours. They aren't the amount of time you'll spend at the destination.
Los Arcos: plan around time in the water
If swimming or snorkeling is what you're looking forward to, start here. Bring your swimsuit and towel; you can also stay aboard and enjoy the view of the rocks.
Water activities depend on sea conditions that day. The four-hour charter includes water and ice, and you can bring food and drinks.
Las Ánimas: leave room for lunch
Las Ánimas is a good option if you'd like to break up the boat ride with a beach stop and a meal ashore. If a relaxed restaurant lunch is the main plan, mention it when arranging your trip so there's room for it in the day.
A restaurant meal is paid for separately. The six-hour charter includes snacks, beer and soft drinks aboard.
Yelapa: enjoy the journey and a village visit
Choose Yelapa if you'd like a longer ride along the coast and time to wander beyond the beach. The village has small shops to explore, so bring shoes you're comfortable walking in if you plan to go ashore.
The seven-hour charter includes snacks, beer and soft drinks. Meals bought ashore are separate.
Before choosing your boat
