El Banco is a bank that rises up from thousands of feet to just 60 feet and has strong deep currents rising up and bringing nutrients attracting game fish from all types. Famous for its giant marlin, it also hosts very good tuna fishing and spectacular bottom fishing. We anchor up here on overnight trips and the fishing never stops. El Banco is 48 nautical miles from port so is a 12 hour round trip. We recommend a min 14 hour trip to fish this area.
